Sit back and relax in our ultra-comfortable private carriages and enjoy a tour of the city like no other.  This carriage is ideal for couples, but it can comfortably hold up to 4 adults.  Since there are no other passengers, you can ask your driver for any type of tour…history, ghost, or even a combination.  Of course, if you want a quiet, romantic ride, your driver can simply transport you through the quiet neighborhoods in the beautiful Historic District.

Private tours are very popular, and more limited, therefore, reservations are strongly suggested.  For an additional fee, we are available for special pickup and drop-off locations throughout the city, as scheduling permits.  Give us a call if you would like to make arrangements for such pickups.

With this in mind, we would like to invite you to enjoy some great local wine and a tasty snack platter, as you amble through the gorgeous tree lined streets of Historic Savannah in our Private carriage. Your coachman will transport you through our 277 year history, as you sit back, and savor your time with us, your company, and the wine of course! The package includes your choice of one of the Meinhardts award winning local wines, a freshly made fruit and cheese platter and the Private carriage tour which lasts about 50 minutes. Consider adding on a tasting and swing by the wine shop a little while before your tour to make your wine selection. You'll taste 5  great wines and get to choose your favorite for your tour.
